Founded at the intersection of advanced software engineering and frontline reproductive medicine, Fertility Billing Solution emerged to resolve a persistent operational gap in fertility care. Drawing on enterprise‑scale security experience from Google Engineering, Shakil Kanji partnered with his sister Dr.Salina Kanji, a practicing reproductive endocrinologist who had repeatedly witnessed the administrative burden of managing long‑term embryo storage. After mapping clinic workflows and running early pilots, they translated their combined expertise into a dependable platform that streamlines billing and consent for cryostorage facilities.
Those scrappy beginnings still shape the company’s culture today: build fast, listen first, and iterate with the people who use the software every day. From a two‑person experiment to a growing, mission‑driven team, FBS keeps evolving alongside the clinics it serves—always focused on lightening their load so they can focus on families.
